A Moulded Case Circuit Breaker (MCCB) is an important electrical protection device.
It is designed to detect faults in a circuit, such as overload or short circuit, and quickly cut off the current to prevent equipment damage or fire. Molded case circuit breakers are usually equipped with thermal protection and magnetic protection mechanisms, the former to detect overload conditions and the latter to detect short circuit events. Once a fault is detected, the circuit breaker automatically trips and cuts off the current to ensure the safety of the circuit and equipment.
Due to its reliability, flexibility and reusability, molded case circuit breakers are widely used in power systems in residential, commercial and industrial buildings, and are an indispensable part of modern electrical systems.
